Security & Anti-Scam

Is Inloovi a real, legitimate company?
Yes. Inloovi Ireland Ltd. is a registered Irish company. We operate as an insurance introducer / consultancy, not as a directly-regulated broker. The motor policy itself is arranged and underwritten through a partner insurer that is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland — that insurer's name appears on every Certificate of Insurance and Policy Schedule we issue.
That is why a search for "Inloovi" on the Central Bank's broker register will not return our name: introducers and consultancies are not listed there. The underwriting partner is listed, and you can verify it yourself on the Central Bank of Ireland register at registers.centralbank.ie using the insurer name printed on your policy documents.
If you have any doubt before paying, email insurance@inloovi.com and we will send you, in writing, the name of the underwriting partner for your quote and a direct link to its Central Bank register entry — before any money changes hands.
How to verify you're dealing with the real Inloovi
- The only official website is inloovi.com. Anything else (inloovi.net, inloovi-ie.com, inloovi-insurance.com, etc.) is not us.
- The only official email domain is @inloovi.com. We will never email you from gmail.com, outlook.com or any other domain.
- Our WhatsApp Business number is shown only inside your application dashboard after you submit a quote. We will never DM you first on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook.
- Payment links always live on https://inloovi.com/pay and the checkout itself runs on a Stripe-hosted page (checkout.stripe.com). We will never ask you to pay anywhere else.
- Every policy comes with a Certificate of Insurance and Policy Schedule that names the underwriting partner insurer. You can verify any Irish-authorised insurer on the Central Bank of Ireland register at registers.centralbank.ie.
If someone is harassing or threatening you in our name
We have seen individuals send abusive WhatsApp messages claiming to "have your IP address", "sell your location" or "access your software". These claims are technically false — a public IP address does not reveal a street address, and nobody can remotely access your device because you filled in a web form. If you receive messages like this:
- Do not engage. Screenshot everything (number, profile photo, full message thread).
- Forward the screenshots to complaints@inloovi.com. We add the number to our internal blocklist and, when the threats are credible, report it to An Garda Síochána under the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997 (harassment).
- Block the number on WhatsApp and report the chat from inside the app (Settings → Report contact).
Payment methods we accept
- Card payments (Visa, Mastercard) processed by a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment provider.
- SEPA bank transfer to the Inloovi Ireland Ltd. business account named on your invoice.
Payment methods we NEVER accept
- Gift cards (Amazon, Apple, Google Play, Steam, etc.).
- Cryptocurrency.
- Wire transfers to a personal name instead of "Inloovi Ireland Ltd.".
- Cash handed to anyone in person.
- Revolut/PayPal "friends and family" to an individual.
If anyone — even someone wearing an Inloovi t-shirt — asks you to pay in any of the ways above, it is a scam. Stop, do not pay, and email complaints@inloovi.com.
Red flags that signal a scam
- "Pay now in the next 10 minutes or the price doubles." We never do urgency pricing.
- A WhatsApp account using the Inloovi logo with a +44, +1 or non-Irish (+353) number.
- A Certificate of Insurance that does not name an insurer authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Anyone asking for your card PIN, online banking password, or a one-time bank code.
- An invoice asking you to send money to a personal account or to an IBAN outside Ireland.
If you think you've been scammed
- Stop all further payments immediately.
- Contact your bank's fraud line and request a chargeback.
- Report to An Garda Síochána — Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (garda.ie).
- Forward all messages, emails and receipts to complaints@inloovi.com so we can take down the impersonator and warn other customers.
Site security
inloovi.com is served only over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). All form submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not store full card numbers — payments are tokenised by our PCI-DSS Level 1 provider. Access to customer data is restricted to staff with a documented business need and is logged.
