Inloovi Ireland Ltd. ("Inloovi", "we") is the data controller for personal data you submit through inloovi.com. Registered office: 61 Durrow Rd, Kimmage, Dublin 12, D12 X7E5, Ireland. CRO number 168567, Central Bank reference C1299.

1. Data we collect

  • Identity: full name, date of birth, nationality, driving licence number and country of issue.
  • Contact: email, mobile number, address (Eircode).
  • Vehicle: registration, make, model, year, value.
  • Risk: years driving, claims history, convictions.
  • Payment: card token (we never see the full PAN), billing address.
  • Technical: IP address, browser, pages viewed (essential cookies and aggregated analytics only).

2. Why we use it

  • To produce a quote and pass the minimum necessary data to a partner insurer (contractual necessity, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To issue and service the policy (contractual necessity).
  • To comply with anti-fraud, AML and tax obligations (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To respond to your queries and handle complaints (legitimate interest).

3. Who we share it with

  • The partner insurer underwriting your policy.
  • Our payment provider, hosting provider, and email/communications provider (all under data processing agreements).
  • An Garda Síochána, the Revenue Commissioners or the Central Bank of Ireland where legally required.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for third-party marketing.

4. International transfers

Your data is stored within the European Economic Area. Where a sub-processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep policy data for 7 years after the policy ends, in line with insurance regulatory and tax record-keeping requirements. Quote data without a purchase is deleted after 12 months.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of these, email privacy@inloovi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (dataprotection.ie).

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in to your application dashboard and to remember consent choices. We use aggregated, IP-truncated analytics to understand site usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
