Honest disclosure

What Third Party doesn't include

Like any Third Party Only policy in Ireland, this product is built for legal compliance — not Comprehensive protection. If you want repairs for your own car after a crash, choose Comprehensive.

  • Damage to your own car (collision, theft, fire, glass)
  • Roadside assistance / courtesy car
  • Comprehensive add-ons
In short: Inloovi keeps you legal on the road. It doesn't repair your car.
Who it's for

For people who think
Irish car insurance
is broken.

If you drive a €2,000 car and you're being asked for €2,000 a year to insure it, something is off. Inloovi exists for drivers who want to stop paying for cover they never claim on.

  • Any licence accepted — Irish, EU, foreign or provisional
  • Pay only to be registered as insured — nothing else bundled in
  • One fixed €499 a year — no monthly surprises, no broker fees
  • Built for cheap cars, low-mileage drivers, and tight budgets
  • Quotes in under a minute, no broker, no paperwork

The €4,000 problem

Stop paying €4,000
just to drive.

In Ireland, a first policy can cost €3,500 to €6,500 a year — even for experienced drivers from abroad. Inloovi exists for one reason: let people actually drive, without selling them cover they'll never claim on.

First insurance in Ireland
€3,500 – €6,500

Typical quotes for first-time drivers — even with 10+ years of foreign experience.

Yearly renewal
+15 – 25%

Even after a year with zero claims, traditional insurers often hike the price.

Without Irish driving history
Refused

Many young drivers and newcomers are simply told 'Unable to insure.'

Real answers, before you buy.

Third Party cover — what it includes, what it doesn't, and why it's a fraction of the broker price.

THE QUESTION EVERYONE ASKS

Is Inloovi real insurance I can drive with?

Yes. Inloovi is Third Party cover — the minimum level of motor insurance required by the Irish Road Traffic Act to drive on public roads. Your vehicle is registered in a partner insurer's system and Garda ANPR cameras read your reg as insured, exactly like any other Third Party policy.

Why is Inloovi only €499 per year?

Because it's a pure Third Party product — no Comprehensive add-ons like own-vehicle damage, theft, fire, glass or courtesy car. You only pay for the legal cover you actually need to drive. Traditional brokers bundle extras most drivers never claim on, which is why their quotes hit €3,500+.

Will Garda ANPR cameras flag my car?

No. Your registration is logged as insured in the partner insurer's system, which feeds the same databases Garda ANPR cameras check. From the camera's point of view, your car is covered like any other.

What documents will I get?

Within 24h of payment you receive your Certificate of Insurance and Policy Schedule by email, issued in your name with your vehicle registration and the cover dates. Keep them in the car like you would with any other policy.

Is this the same as Third Party Only?

Yes — that is exactly the level of cover. Same legal status, same ANPR recognition. The difference is price and how fast you're activated.

Does Inloovi cover damage to my own car?

No — that's Comprehensive cover, which is a separate product. Third Party (including Inloovi) covers your legal obligation to drive. If you want repairs after a crash, theft or fire, choose Comprehensive.

Who issues the policy?

A partner insurer registered to operate in Ireland. The insurer name appears on your Certificate of Insurance and Policy Schedule once activated.

How long does activation take?

Within 24h of cleared payment. Most clients get their documents the same day.

Can I cancel? Is there a lock-in?

No 12-month lock-in. Cancel anytime — unlike traditional Irish brokers who tie you in for a full year of monthly payments.

What licence do you accept?

Any licence valid in Ireland — Irish, EU, foreign (with the usual recognition rules) or provisional.

Is roadside assistance included?

No. That's a Comprehensive add-on, not part of Third Party cover.

Who is this for?

Drivers who want to be legal on the road without paying €3,000–€6,500 for a Comprehensive policy they don't need — newcomers, young drivers, foreign-licence holders, and anyone driving an older or low-value car.
